Prostate Screening

The evidence for Prostate Cancer Screening in the general population is still not clear cut.  However we understand that many men are concerned about their risk of prostate cancer.  We recommend that you check the HSE Cancer Control website under "Patients and Families - "Leaflets and Booklets" for the most up to date information on prostate screening 

If you are considering prostate cancer screening we recommend that you also look at the National Prostate Cancer GP Referral Guidelines
